We've also been discussing the difference between shapes (2D) and forms (3D), and learned how to shade a sphere using different values from a value scale.

ART II students have been experimenting with sculpture in the projects pictured below. We first created a foil armature then covered it with celluclay, which is like a paper pulp. Once dry, the sculptures were then painted and embellished with polymer clay eyes, teeth, etc.

ART II students learned how to draw shapes in perspective and created a perspective relief out of cardboard then attached it to a collaged chipboard background.
In Painting and Drawing, we studied the color wheel and created one ourselves, depicting not only the hues, but also tints and shades.
Students then applied what they learned to create the organic watercolor painting shown below.
